Questions and Inquiries

Our respiratory therapist is a key part of our health care team, working with our other medical professionals with one goal in mind: to help patients gain control of their conditions and successfully resume daily activities.

Our respiratory therapists are available to treat inpatients who suffer from chronic lung conditions, such as asthma, emphysema and acute conditions such as bronchitis and pneumonia. Respiratory Therapy can benefit patients with cystic fibrosis and lung cancer, as well as those who have experienced lung damage due to a heart attack or trauma.

In addition to providing inpatient therapy, our respiratory therapist also performs outpatient testing such as pulmonary function tests. We also offer hands-on education to help patients use their inhalers, nebulizers, and other respiratory equipment, along with managing medications for optimum results. Our respiratory therapist also provides programs on chronic bronchitis, smoking cessation, and cardiovascular exercise.

Transparency in Coverage Rule

Phillips County Health Systems complies with applicable Federal civil rights laws. Phillips County Health Systems does not discriminate, exclude, or treat individuals differently on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

The Department of Health and Human Services’, Transparency in Coverage Rule, requires health plans to create a member-facing price comparison tool and post publicly available machine-readable files. These files must be updated monthly and include in-network negotiated payment rates and historical out-of-network charges for covered items and services, including prescription drugs.  The purpose of this Rule is to help you know the cost of your healthcare before receiving the care.
