Phillips County Health Systems is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Manager that is compassionate and has the desire to work with patients to provide exceptional patient care.

Oversee, plan and direct the respiratory services, and pulmonary rehabilitation. Oversee departmental staff operations, business planning and budget development. Assure services are in compliance with professional and clinical competency standards, state and federal regulatory requirements. Oversee inventory, order processing and distribution of products and services. Hire, orient, review, counsel, and disciplinary actions as necessary per organization policy. Plan, direct and coordinate activities of multi-team or cross-functional organization teams. 

  • Oversee, plan and direct respiratory services.

  • Oversee departmental staff operations, business planning and budget development.

  • Assure services are in compliance with professional and clinical competency standards, state and federal regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee inventory, order processing and distribution of products and services.

  • Performs functions as Staff Respiratory Therapist as needed

  • Responsible for the management of any departmental staff including performance appraisal, discipline, coaching, mentoring recognition and reward.

  • Not less than annually complete a thorough analysis of current for replacement and any new equipment desired.

  • Responsible for the completion of equipment needs assessment, capital equipment request form and any business plans necessary to justify new or replacement equipment.

Qualifications:  

Experience:  Three years of experience in Respiratory Care post-graduation, preferred. Critical care experience necessary. Supervisory or administrative experience strongly preferred. 

Education: Graduate from an AMA-approved school for Respiratory Therapy with status as a registered therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Therapy.

Licensure:  Kansas RCP

Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS. & ACLS.

Transparency in Coverage Rule
