PHILLIPS COUNTY HOSPITAL'S RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENT OFFERS THE FINEST IN DIAGNOSTIC TESTING INCLUDING CT, MAMMOGRAPHY, DIGITAL X-RAY, AND CONTRACT MRI  AND ULTRASOUND SERVICES.
MORE THAN JUST AN X-RAY

Phillips County Radiology Department offers a wide range of services. These services include basic Diagnostic Exams, Fluoroscopy Exams, CT, Ultrasound, Echo, Vascular, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, MRI, and EKGs.

The Radiology Department is staffed Monday through Friday from 6:30 am until 5:00 pm, excluding holidays. The department is available after hours for emergencies.

Scheduling of exams can be made through the Radiology Dept., Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm., by calling 785-540-4930.

The Radiology exams are interpreted and read by the Radiologists from Plains Radiology of Kearney, NE. seven days a week. They also provide us with STAT emergency reads.

MRI’s and Nuclear Medicine is offered through mobile services which can be scheduled through the Radiology Department by calling 785-540-4930.

Radiology Services

Radiology exams are a diagnostic tool to aid in determining a person’s source of pain, discomfort, find or monitor the pathology of a disease.

  • Ultrasound (Sonography)

    High-frequency sound waves used to look at internal anatomy such as gallbladder, thyroid, heart and blood vessels with no radiation exposure. 

  • Echocardiogram

         An ultrasound test that checks the structure

           and function of your heart.

  • MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)

    Magnetic fields and radio waves to create detailed images for organs, muscles, and tendons with no radiation

  • Nuclear Medicine

    Cardiac stress tests, bone scans, bone disease, and tumors

  • CT Scan

    Produces highly detailed X-ray images

  • X-Ray

  • EKG (Electrocardiogram)

Records the impulses of the heart

  • Mammography

Early detection saves lives

  • Fluoroscopy (Live Imaging)
