Phillips County Health Systems Welcomes Dr. Erika Warbinton, PhD Psychologist, to Enhance Mental Health Services!

Phillips County Health Systems (PCHS) is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Erika Warbinton, a distinguished clinical psychologist, to our team. Starting August 8, Dr. Warbinton will begin seeing patients via telehealth at the Phillips County Medical Clinic, and is now accepting new patients.


Dr. Warbinton's extensive background in clinical psychology makes her an invaluable asset to our community. She holds degrees in biology and psychology from Bethany College and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Emporia State University (ESU), where she was recognized with the Outstanding Clinical Psychology Graduate Student award. Her clinical experience spans individual therapy, psychological testing, and patient advocacy, with a strong focus on social justice and chronic mental illness.


Dr. Warbinton earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology at the University of Oklahoma (OU), gaining significant experience at Griffin State Hospital and the VA Hospital in Oklahoma City. Her private practice in Salina, KS, has focused on providing telehealth services to rural communities, making her a perfect fit for our community’s needs.


Dr. Cooper Nickel, family practice physician with PCHS, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “We are thrilled to have Dr. Warbinton join us. Her expertise and dedication will greatly enhance our mental health services. Her background in rural healthcare and telehealth will be invaluable to our patients.”

Appointments with Dr. Warbinton are available from 9 AM to 4 PM every Thursday. No referral is necessary, and visits will be submitted to insurance, with coverage and co-pays varying by policy. For questions about coverage, please contact your insurance provider.
