The Phillips County Medical Clinic will be closed on Fridays through the month of April in response to the coronavirus crisis. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.

***Medical appointments are exempt from the "Stay at Home" Executive Order. You may still come to the clinic or hospital for your appointment and medical needs.***

If you have a medical need that can not wait, our urgent care clinic, Access Care, is available weekdays from 5-7PM and from 9AM-Noon on Saturday and Sunday. Access Care is located at the ER entrance of the hospital.

These are unprecedented and challenging times for all of us. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting every area of our community, including healthcare services and finances. The temporary elimination of elective surgeries and select outpatient clinics, the postponement of wellness visits, and additional measures taken in order to protect our patients and staff from COVID-19 and conserve essential resources has caused significant declines in patient appointments, services, and resulting revenues.

PCHS is adapting several strategies to manage these changes to allow us to continue our focus on the needs of our community and patients. One of these strategies is temporarily closing the clinic on Fridays through April.

PCHS has a proven history of resilience and is making every effort to position itself to emerge from this pandemic even better able to fulfill our mission of “Patient-Centered Excellence”.

Transparency in Coverage Rule

Phillips County Health Systems complies with applicable Federal civil rights laws. Phillips County Health Systems does not discriminate, exclude, or treat individuals differently on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

The Department of Health and Human Services’, Transparency in Coverage Rule, requires health plans to create a member-facing price comparison tool and post publicly available machine-readable files. These files must be updated monthly and include in-network negotiated payment rates and historical out-of-network charges for covered items and services, including prescription drugs.  The purpose of this Rule is to help you know the cost of your healthcare before receiving the care.

No one will be denied access to service due to the inability to pay. All applications for sliding fee schedules and discounts will be accepted. Eligibility is determined by family size and income.
