LABORATORY

OUR LABORATORY STAFF STRIVES TO PROVIDE THE HIGHEST QUALITY OF CARE FOR PATIENTS WITH ACCURATE AND TIMELY TEST RESULTS.
A patient's laboratory tests provide a wealth of information about their overall health and accurate lab testing is key to proper diagnosis and treatment. At Phillips County Health Systems, our experienced technologists use the latest instrumentation and technology to provide quality results.

The Laboratory is under the direction of a board certified Pathologist and a physician. The Laboratory participates in an extensive proficiency-testing program, is surveyed every two (2) years, and accredited nationally by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA).

Staffed by a highly skilled team of technologists and technicians, our team has a combined clinical experience of greater than 150 years. Our techs work together with physicians/providers to give accurate, cost-effective, and timely results. For laboratory tests not performed in-house, we contract with Quest Diagnostics in Hays, and Lenexa, KS utilizing their extensive test menu and efficient test reporting.

The laboratory is staffed for outpatient’s services Monday – Friday from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. No appointments are required for blood collections. On-call personnel are always available for after-hour emergency services and essential in-patient testing.
